I first heard of the Soza Weight Loss Clinic in King of Prussia from it’s advertisement on morning television. Like every other diet with claims of grandeur I was skeptic. “Lose a pound a day.” Like most “Rollercoaster Dieters” I had experienced short lived success and longer lived failures with other “diet” programs.
I met with Gus and his team at their office one day after work. We talked about what I am looking to achieve and where I want to be 1 month, 6 months, and 1 year down the road. He introduced me to the Soza “way of life.” as I like to call it. Unlike other diets out there, there are no pre-packaged meals. Every day I ate 5 meals a day, consisting of lean proteins, fruits and vegetables and I wasn’t hungry. This is incredible, considering my start weight was 305 pounds.
My biggest problem with dieting had always been starting off great and seeing a plateau and getting frustrated. With the Soza with loss program there were no plateaus. I was losing an average of a pound a day!
The difference between other programs is that you learn how to cook properly for yourself. What choices to make at home, and more importantly what choices to make when NOT at home. We all tend to overeat when we’re not at home. Portion control is something I was never successful at. Soza taught me what to fill up on.
I can attest my success to Soza’s hands on approach. Every week at 6:15 on Wednesday night (After work) I’d go to one of their local Philadelphia or King of Prussia weight loss clinics and regroup. I’d step on the scale, measure my body fat, and bring out the tape measure. We’d go over everything I ate that week and how it affected my numbers overall.
After 4 and a half months I was able to lose 100 pounds and fit into a medium sized shirt. 1 year later, I’ve put on lean muscle, and kept my weight off! I now enjoy going to the gym regularly, and preparing food that makes me feel and look great.
Overall this program is not a diet, but more of a partnership. I knew that I could call them anytime I had a question on what to eat. They are truly committed to changing your life, instead of selling you a product and hoping for the best.
I don’t work for Soza, nor am I being compensated in anyway. I just want others to know what they can help you do if you’re ready for a change. Words cannot express my gratitude and I will always be a Soza member!
